I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Deloitte (Sacramento, CA) in Nov 2010
Interview
The first interview was over the phone. The lady seemed very nice and shared a lot of information. On this first call you will get asked what salary you are expecting. I suggest you overstate your salary (do some research first on what the average person on that level makes and then ask for 10% more than the average).
The second interview was also a phone interview and this one was a skills interview. All I can suggest is that you learn your topic and know it well (i.e., if you are being interviewed for a Test Senior Consultant, at least know all the different approaches to testing depending on that implementation).
The third round of interviews was an in person interview. This one consisted of 3 interviews (about 30 to 45 minutes each). When you get to the office try not to be too stiff. Be friendly with the receptionist, and be outgoing. These interviews will not only focus on your ability to answer the questions, but they are also assessing your potential to be a Partner in the future (i.e., ability to sell work). You need to come across as a confident (but not cocky), and you need to know what you are talking about.

Question 1
Why do you want to leave your current company to work for Deloitte?
The process was very structured, beginning with managers, before progressing to a final interview with the partner. The first stages were more analytical, with the final interview being less formal, where it appeared the partner was seeking to finalise the recruitment process.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Deloitte
Interview
Several rounds of interviews. Two rounds with a consulting director. One round with a technical director. Final round with a partner. Final negotiations with HR via email and phone call.

Question 1
They asked a technical question about the software I was an expert in. It was simple enough to rule out anyone without experience, but not stump someone with intermediate knowledge.
It was very vague as only 3 questions were asked which was by BA who does not have QA knowledge.Infact he mentioned that I have good knowledge.despite that I didnt get selected which seems fishy and entire interview was done for formality
