I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Deloitte in July 2014
Interview
After the first phone interview and on-site interview with Deloitte, I was placed on an offer list. However, the direction for Deloitte changed. Because of that change, I was recommended to another group and scheduled for an on-site interview. I was warned in advance that the group was an extremely difficult one, I should have heeded advice and not bothered to waste by time travelling and preparing. Needless to say, I was not offered a position. The recruiter was not surprised by the behavior or the waste of time and was very apologetic.
I had been offered and accepted another position with another company, and to my surprise, I receive yet another email from Deloitte requesting phone interviews. The phone interviews went fine and an on-site interview was requested. Since the second interview, I had proceeded to obtain valuable certifications. I flew to the second interview wearing my suit and pearls. I asked and answered all the right questions. I noticed that my second interviewer the same individual from round two. After the third on-site, I returned home only to find out that I would not be offered a position because I failed to disclose that interview (which I quite frankly forgot about). Deloitte should have also have this information stored in their system from the applicant interviews. In order words, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!
The three-stage process included a case study and involved meeting several team members. Overall, it was a positive experience although the recruiter took a while to inform me about the offer.
The interview process was long and slow. Took a lot of time to connect, but was worth the effort. The interviews were good and informative, but the turn around time was high, had to wait for good 2 months to hear back
