ElectraNet is seeking a Civil Engineer to provide specialist technical expertise across the design, construction and commissioning of critical transmission network infrastructure. Working within the Substation Engineering team, you will play a key role in ensuring civil engineering solutions meet operational, regulatory, safety and performance requirements while supporting the delivery of strategic business objectives and major capital projects.
As a subject matter expert, you will contribute across the full asset lifecycle, from concept development and detailed design through to construction, testing, commissioning, operation and maintenance. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex and challenging projects while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, external consultants, contractors and customers to deliver innovative, commercially focused engineering outcomes.
Based in Adelaide, this full-time role will also cover the following key responsibilities:
You are a degree-qualified Civil Engineer with strong technical expertise in civil infrastructure design and construction, ideally within high-voltage substations, transmission networks or similarly complex infrastructure environments. You combine sound engineering judgment with commercial awareness and enjoy solving complex technical challenges while building effective relationships across multidisciplinary teams. A proactive communicator, you are committed to delivering safe, high-quality outcomes and continuously improving engineering practices and asset performance.

ElectraNet is committed to empowering our people and recognising their contribution with a competitive remuneration package. For this role, we are proud to offer a starting base salary of $129,500pa plus 12% superannuation and bonus eligibility of up to 15%.
