About the job

Quant Trader Developers are responsible for the design, implementation and on-going support of trading strategies. This includes applying quantitative financial methods to financial markets, developing trading systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, maintain and evolve trading strategies as determined by their Team Leader or Head of Trading Desk
• Define, analyse and solve complex financial market problems using quantitative methods
• Use statistical and quantitative methods to ensure strategies are systematic and research driven
• Collect, clean, and interpret financial data to find trends and patterns
• Analyse, compare and report differences between test and live trading results
• Build and maintain systems for trading, risk management, and research
• Collaborate with other teams within Tibra to share data, insights, and findings
• Support other trading related requests from Team Leader or Head of Trading Desk

Experience & Skills:

• Strong skills in statistics, mathematics, or data analysis
• Software development skills, ideally in C++ or Python
• Experience working with large datasets

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher, preferably in one of the following disciplines (or similar):
• Mathematics & Applied Statistics
• Computer Science & Software Engineering
• Physics
• Mechanical, Materials & Mechatronic Engineering
• Electrical, Computer & Telecommunications Engineering

Pay: From $120,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
