Salary: $135,000 to $155,000 (Excluding Superannuation)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in banking/financial services, cloud platforms, and modern DevOps practices. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable, high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop microservices-based applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Node.js
• Build and manage RESTful APIs using Swagger/OpenAPI standards
• Work on cloud-based architectures, primarily on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3)
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Bitbucket, Bamboo
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments via Kubernetes
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define and refine requirements
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning and demos
• Ensure code quality using tools like SonarQube and Snyk
• Work with databases such as MongoDB, SQL, Cassandra
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize system performance
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decision-making

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot
• Expertise in Microservices architecture
• Experience with API development (REST, Swagger/OpenAPI)
• Good knowledge of AWS services
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
• Strong database knowledge (SQL & NoSQL)
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Git

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in banking or financial domain
• Exposure to AI/Automation tools (LLM, LangChain, AI Agents)
• Knowledge of API gateways and integration tools
• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Postman, SoapUI)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• AWS Certification (preferred)

Pay: $135,000.00 – $155,000.00 per year
