Pros

- Senior leaders, (Vice-President level and above only) are people I've came across as really talented if not people with really visible leadership competencies. - Any form of valued innovation that doesn't require the company to cough that extra dollar are usually good to go and well-appreciated - Fantastic work-life balance and flexible work arrangement (at least you can choose to balance your work-life when you care less about that extra chance to impress) - Great place to learn when people are generally not that dim-witted

Cons

- Change is good but when there's too much of them, people start to behave in ways conforming to such culture without truly realizing that change is still an event and something that should be throughly evaluated... I've seen people using it as a tool to exhibit that they are 'in-sync' with the notion/ culture whatever you call it. These people work to inject 'sense' to meaningless development only to abandon or thrown to others after receiving the credit. - Just looking at the brand, American Express should really Improve their compensation package to match company of similar scale and calibre. - They'll not think too much to displace you for a variety of reasons

Pros

They have fantastic pay for the position you're in, and they teach you interesting and engaging utility of modern technology mixed with legacy fundamentals. I've learned quite a bit while AmEx while getting paid more than fairly - I'd recommend a stretch here to whomever may be reading this!

Cons

The Company is huge, and at times it may take more than a little time to get recognized for your abilities and the growth you've had. There's a reason there is a "only way up is out" reputation exists for some enterprise companies...
