The Assistant Accountant provides operational support to the accounting team, ensuring the accurate processing, recording, and reporting of financial transactions. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the integrity of the general ledger and supports the delivery of quarter-end, year-end, and statutory reporting.

The role is accounting-focused in nature and is designed to support accountants and Directors by ensuring effective and accurate information is provided.

This varied role includes:

• Coding, reconciliations, journals, spreadsheeting and period end reporting.
• Assist with the preparation of ATO returns.
• Assisting with payroll, superannuation returns and reporting
• Assisting with coverage to the administration function of the office as required
