Responsibilities:

• Prepare façade details (hand sketches or drafted in CAD), façade performance specification and detailed engineering calculations and analyses to a high standard and ensure that any outgoing documents are reviewed and verified internally before being presented to a client.
• Enhance specialised façade technical skills in areas outside of current experience.
• Communicating with clients and assisting Directors and other senior staff members.
• Prepare Cadigal Group engineering standards and other ad hoc documentation as necessary.
• Review sub-contractors’ shop drawings, calculations and reports and respond promptly.
• Review information supplied by external parties to identify details that may affect the final design. Liaise with other parties to progress the design development of the facade.
• In collaboration with the façade engineering team, provide peer review services for external parties.
• Work closely with your line manager and the directors.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

• Must be very fluent in Oral and written English and capable of communicating with Australian Engineers and clients.
• Should be able to prepare hand calculations based on Australian/ International standards and document them.
• Min. Five years of experience in the engineering field with min Two years as a facade design engineer.
• Candidate must have completed 4 years engineering degree program with B.Sc or B.Eng degree.
• Exposure in the façade construction industry will be an advantage.
