We are looking for a Senior Manager -Construction Operations based in Melbourne, Victoria,. In this role, you would be responsible for driving the efficiency and safe installation of the New Equipment and MODs volume backlog while ensuring lifts are handed over to the Service operations meeting OTIS quality standards and customer expectations.

Provide leadership and oversight to Project Managers and field supervisory teams across the New Equipment (NE) and Modernisation (MOD) Construction business in Victoria and Tasmania.
Oversee workforce planning by determining the effective allocation of field staff and subcontractors in collaboration with Project Managers to ensure optimal project delivery.
Drive a strong safety culture across all construction operations, ensuring full compliance with EHS policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, supported by active monitoring through dashboards and reporting tools.
Allocate projects to Project Managers, setting clear performance and efficiency targets to support successful execution and delivery outcomes.
Ensure team capability and compliance by maintaining appropriate training standards aligned with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
Partner with Supply Chain to ensure timely, accurate, and coordinated delivery of materials to support project schedules and minimise disruption.
Establish performance expectations and conduct regular performance reviews for direct reports in accordance with company policies, keeping senior leadership informed of outcomes.
Ensure adherence to Environmental Health & Safety requirements, including proactively identifying and reporting any risks or conditions that may impact employees or the environment.
Maintain and uphold Quality Management Systems, ensuring compliance with procedures and standards while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Support Project Managers as required in stakeholder engagement, including participation in onsite safety meetings with builders and clients.
Has minimum 10+ years of experience in field operations management
Hold the appropriate Trade qualifications and has experience working as a Lift trades person
Proven ability to direct profitability performance for New Installation and Modernisation divisions
Experience in project management for revenue recognition from the installation processes and initiatives to enhance operational consistency
Experience leading rollout of standardized installation processes and field performance metrics - combine
Experience overseeing commercial strategy, operational delivery, and engineering execution
Demonstrated success in growing annual revenue through targeted client engagement and strengthening strategic partnerships
Proven ability to champion strong safety culture initiatives and ensure compliance with design registration and regional codes
Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
Holds a valid driver’s license
