Role
Working in the CBD of Sydney, this trading firm focuses on market making and arbitrage opportunities globally, with technology at the forefront of their business. This position will see you work in a fast-paced environment helping to design and develop new solutions for their dynamic connectivity systems. You will have a big impact on the business, you will help to design and develop new solutions for their connectivity infrastructure which underpins the market-making operations. What is exciting about this opportunity is that you are joining a newer firm on the market, so there is actual build work to be done.

Requirements

• Experience working in a prop-trading firm is essential.
• Experience with financial trading systems, including market connectivity protocols (FIX, FAST, etc.)
• Engineering experience with Java.
• Knowledge of algorithms and low-latency development.
• Good communication skills.
