We are establishing a new, German-owned Tier 1 automotive component manufacturing facility in KAEC.
As part of this greenfield investment, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Cost Controller.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and leading the controlling function, ensuring financial transparency, compliance with Saudi regulations, and effective cost management to support the ramp-up and sustainable operation of the plant.
In line with Saudization policies and local labor regulations, this position is primarily intended for Saudi nationals.
Key responsibilities
Establish and lead the controlling function for a greenfield automotive plant in Saudi Arabia.
Maintain cost controlling systems, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting.
Support plant management with accurate financial analysis, KPIs, and business cases to drive decision-making.
Monitor and analyze production costs, material usage, and overhead to identify improvement opportunities.
Coordinate closely with finance, HR, procurement, and operations to ensure proper cost allocation and reporting.
Prepare regular management reports for local leadership and HQ, highlighting risks and opportunities.
Contribute to the plant’s strategic planning and support investment controlling for new equipment and expansions.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
5+ years of experience in controlling/finance within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
Experience in greenfield or start-up environments is a strong advantage.
Solid knowledge of Saudi financial regulations, taxation, and compliance requirements.
Strong analytical skills, hands-on mentality, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
Fluent in English AND Arabic
