Pros

1) COLLABORATION - absolutely the best selling point for this company - it's highly encouraged - use Chatter and Technical Practice Network to share information and find people 2) TECHNICAL BENEFITS - all free (for employees): ASCE Webinars, Red Vector courses, CAD training, Trimble, Bentley and Autodesk partnerships, ASCE Membership, AECOM University... the list goes on and on... you don't have to worry about having tools and training you need to succeed! 3) INSPIRATIONAL LEADERSHIP - Mike Burke is a great communicator, and it's exciting to see the direction the company takes in the next couple years... 4) GLOBAL REACH - Learn from, connect with and work with colleagues all over the world! 5) FLEXIBILITY IN WORK SCHEDULE - Although I personally have not tested this feature out yet, many have shared flexible schedules that I envy - seems to be a great company to work for if you can't do a traditional 8-5 in the office.

Cons

1) HEALTH BENEFITS - Comprehensive, yes, but more expensive than one would expect for a company with so many employees 2) TRADITIONAL OFFICE ENVIRONMENT - I'm speaking about my office on this one - I'm sure each location is different - our office is legacy URS - very stuffy old school environment with a generally disengaged staff. Hopefully, 'fresh air' of new AECOM movements will soon waft into our corner of the globe! 3) NEW LEADERSHIP FROM OUTSIDE - Every week we get emails about a new vice president/C-suite exec, rarely are they former AECOM employees! They're coming in high from other companies, which sends a message I don't think is favorable: you won't get promoted high from within the company 4) SOME SUPPORT SERVICES WERE NOT MERGED WELL - Take, for example, indirect procurement, which was in a serious state of flux, dissent and pure confusion/dread (many lost their jobs or left before they were cut) for over a year! Admin personnel have also complained about lack of easy access to basic information to do their job since the merge. For support services that are so necessary, this says not all departments in the company are as well managed and cared for as engineering/architecture/sciences. Word of caution for support personnel.

Pros

- Work wasn't overly demanding and teammates were great.

Cons

- Pay was low and raises/promotions seemed to be awarded by favoritism rather than work.
