Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
Candidate will work with engineers and designers on a variety of projects to transform initial rough designs and hand sketches into working documents using computer aided drafting (CAD) software.
Candidate must be capable of preparing multiple view drawings, detail drawings, electrical schematics, block diagrams and technical illustrations. Ability to organize complete system drawing packages and evaluate the impact of design changes. Drawings include complex design features that require considerable drafting skill and experience to visualize and portray. Must have the skills to review engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established client specifications and standards. Up to date knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in Electrical/Mechanical drafting within the Oil and Gas industry.
Detail-oriented and self-motivated person with hands-on ability to get the job done, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work and communicate well with a variety of professionals in a collaborative atmosphere are expected for this position.

Education & Experience
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering/Electrical Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
Experienced in the use of computer-aided design and software development. (AutoCAD is preferred.)
An excellent hands-on problem solver with at least 5 years engineering or industrial electrical maintenance experience.
Must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
Familiarity with NEC and UL electrical standards.
Develops conceptual electro-mechanical solutions by studying end customer requirements.
Reads and understands field recorded data pertaining to electronic equipment and associated measurements.
Assists in other areas of the business as required.
The minimum salary is $60K and the max salary is $96K.
