The opportunity

We are seeking a detail oriented and motivated Inventory Analyst to join our Gas Services Contract team based in Derrimut, Victoria.

In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the safe and efficient operation of the gas distribution network. Working closely with Operations and Gas Supply teams, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory data, coordinating stock activities, and ensuring operational information is recorded and managed effectively across multiple systems.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a proactive and analytical professional with strong coordination and data management skills. You will bring

• Experience in inventory management, data entry, or administrative support roles
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret data and identify trends and improvements
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables and data analysis
• Experience using systems such as JDE, Office 365, SharePoint or similar platforms
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and data integrity
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Key responsibilities include

• Supporting inventory strategies, stock replenishment and cycle counts
• Analysing stock variances and investigating discrepancies
• Preparing regular reporting including stock reconciliation, inventory KPIs and variance analysis
• Maintaining accurate master data and operational records
• Processing work orders and supporting scheduling and supply coordination activities
• Identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives
