Our client is an Australian fintech on a mission to simplify payments for industries that traditional providers often overlook. They’re building smart, end-to-end payment solutions that help businesses collect and send funds seamlessly - from card acquiring and real-time bank transfers to virtual cards and fraud prevention.

They’re growing rapidly across Australia and New Zealand and have recently launched into new international markets. As part of this growth, they’re looking for a front-end focused Full-Stack Engineer to help shape what’s next.

This role is ideal for engineers who care deeply about UX, clean UI, and modern front-end practices, while still being comfortable working across the stack.



What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing and building responsive, high-performance UI's using React.js
• Translating product and design requirements into polished, intuitive user experiences
• Collaborating closely with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers
• Building and integrating APIs and services using Java (Spring / Spring Boot)
• Contributing to architectural decisions across front-end and back-end systems
• Writing clean, testable, and maintainable code
• Improving performance, accessibility, and usability across the platform

What We’re Looking For

• 4–7 years’ experience as a Full-Stack Engineer
• Strong experience with React.js and modern front-end development
• Solid understanding of Java and back-end development principles
• Experience integrating front-end applications with REST APIs
• Strong eye for UI/UX, design systems, and front-end best practices
• Comfortable working in an agile, cross-functional environment
• Experience with modern tooling (Git, CI/CD, testing frameworks)
