UI / Web Designer (Figma)
We are looking for a talented UI / Web Designer with strong experience using Figma to support our agency with ongoing website, landing page, and brand design work.
This role is ideal for someone who can confidently take brand assets, a style direction, or a loose creative brief and turn it into polished, professional website and landing page designs — and who can work with minimal direction once briefed.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for designing websites, landing pages, and campaign pages in Figma. This includes creating new designs from client brand assets and style guides, establishing a visual direction where one doesn't exist yet, and producing clean, developer-ready design files.
As an agency, we work across multiple client accounts, so there will be a consistent flow of website designs, landing pages, campaign pages, and design updates to complete. The role is contract-based, but with the volume of client work we have, there will be regular ongoing work for the right person.
Key Responsibilities
- Design website pages and landing pages in Figma
- Take client brand assets (logos, colours, fonts, imagery) and create a cohesive visual style
- Establish a design direction from limited or loose brand materials where needed
- Design landing pages for marketing campaigns, ads, and lead generation
- Create clean, organised, developer-ready Figma files with clear structure
- Design with responsive layouts in mind (desktop, tablet, mobile)
- Follow brand guidelines, copy, imagery, and layout references where supplied
- Design with conversion in mind — clear hierarchy, strong CTAs, scannable layouts
- Make revisions and updates to existing designs
- Work with our internal agency team to deliver designs efficiently and accurately
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Figma (components, auto layout, organised files)
- Excellent eye for layout, spacing, typography, colour, and visual hierarchy
- Ability to create a polished design from brand assets and a style direction
- Experience designing websites and landing pages (not just app UI)
- Understanding of responsive design best practices
- Experience designing for marketing, lead generation, or conversion-focused pages
- Ability to work from loose briefs without needing excessive direction
- Comfortable working across multiple client brands and styles
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable communication and ability to meet deadlines
Nice to Have
- Ability to build your designs in WordPress using Elementor / Elementor Pro (a big plus — but not essential)
- Brand design experience — logos, colour palettes, typography systems, brand guidelines
- Experience creating graphics or creative for ads and social
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS or how designs translate to development
- Experience working with digital marketing agencies
- Familiarity with design handoff and developer collaboration
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a designer who is fast, detail-oriented, and confident creating professional website and landing page designs in Figma. They should be able to take a client's brand assets — or even just a rough style direction — and create something visually strong without needing everything spelled out.
If they can also develop their designs in WordPress with Elementor, that's a major bonus, as it means designs can go from concept to live site with one person. And if they have the ability to create a brand from scratch when a client doesn't have one, even better.
They should understand that most of this work is used for marketing campaigns, so the final output needs to be visually strong, mobile-friendly, and conversion-focused — not just pretty.
