About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Applications Support Associate to join our team in Canberra. This role handles day-to-day software troubleshooting, user assistance, and system checking. While you will manage tasks independently, we focus heavily on potential, adaptability, and a strong interest in technology. If you have a basic foundation in IT support or customer service and are eager to learn new software platforms quickly, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Ownership: Respond to user support requests, helping team members troubleshoot software glitches and navigation issues to keep daily operations running smoothly.
Collaboration: Work alongside tech teams and external support to pass on complex software bugs and track them until they are fixed.
Problem Solving: Look into common software errors, figure out why they keep happening, and suggest simple workarounds or fixes.
Data & Reporting: Keep support logs updated, write down simple step-by-step guides for common issues, and track basic system performance stats.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a customer service, helpdesk, or general office support role. (We are highly open to entry-level applicants who are fast learners and comfortable with computers).
Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills with the patience to explain technical steps to everyday users.
Technical Skills: General comfort using modern web applications and software tools. Familiarity with basic troubleshooting or ticketing systems is a plus, but we are fully ready to train the right person.
Problem Solving: A helpful, logical mindset. You enjoy figuring out why a program isn't working and can manage your daily checklist reliably.
Education: A degree, diploma, tech certification, or equivalent hands-on experience and a strong willingness to learn.
