Vinery Stud is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Yearling Manager to lead the preparation and development of our young stock and oversee yearlings destined for all major Australian yearling sales.
Located in the heart of the Hunter Valley, just 10 minutes from Scone, this is an outstanding opportunity to work with exceptionally well-bred yearlings alongside a passionate and experienced team. Reporting directly to the Stud Manager and Assistant Stud Manager, you will play a key role in preparing elite thoroughbreds for sale and future racing success.
Vinery Stud has a proud history of producing and consigning quality horses to the industry’s premier sales, including Magic Millions, Inglis Easter, Inglis Classic, Inglis Premier and other major Australian sales. This role offers the opportunity to work with some of the best bloodlines in the country within a professional and progressive environment.

The 2026 breeding season marks an exciting new chapter at Vinery Stud, with the addition of three new stallions to our dynamic roster, headlined by Ole Kirk, All Too Hard, and now Farnan. As a long-standing and highly respected farm, we are seeking experienced stallion handlers to join our team for the 2026 season.
For the right applicants, flights and visa costs will be covered, and accommodation is provided. The farm is conveniently located just 10 minutes from Scone, offering access to boutique shops, sporting clubs, restaurants, and nearby wineries.
