The opportunity
This role will see you maintain, enhance and continuously improve YHA’s learning framework, building clear pathways that help our people grow their skills, develop as leaders and progress their careers. Working closely with leaders and property teams right across the business, you’ll design and deliver learning programs that build a capable, engaged and high-performing workforce, support succession planning, and create a safe, supportive environments where people are empowered to be their best.
What you’ll get to do:
Constant review and delivery of our induction, onboarding and development programs, giving every new team member a warm, confident start and a clear path to grow.
Create engaging, blended learning experiences with a mix of fact to face and online training, always reflecting our culture, values and tone of voice.
Measure and evaluate the impact of every training program, using feedback and outcomes to continuously improve our offer and show a clear return on investment.
Partner with teams across the business to share best practice and build a consistent approach to learning across our network.
Identify capability gaps in line with YHA’s strategic direction and design or source the training solutions to close them across the business.
Bring industry best practice to life at YHA, staying curious about new approaches while protecting the culture that makes us who we are.
Deliver honest, constructive feedback that lifts performance and role-models the way we work.
