Product Merchandise Manager
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded fashion and product development business that partners with some of Australia’s leading retail brands.
We’re looking for a commercially minded Product / Merchandise Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves owning the end-to-end product journey - from concept and development through to production and client delivery.
This role would suit someone who is equally passionate about product, client relationships, sourcing, and production management. You’ll work closely with both clients and offshore vendors to bring seasonal ranges to life while ensuring timelines, quality standards, and commercial outcomes are consistently achieved.

The Opportunity
You’ll play a key role across product development, production management, client communication, sourcing, costing, and vendor management.
Working closely with leadership and external partners, you’ll help drive seasonal development strategies while ensuring products are delivered on time, to the highest quality standards, and aligned to client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end product development process across multiple clients and categories
- Build strong relationships with clients through regular communication and presentations
- Develop seasonal product timelines and critical paths by category and client
- Source fabrics, trims and accessories in collaboration with leadership and suppliers
- Coordinate sample development with offshore vendors
- Create and manage product styles within the ERP system
- Prepare costings and product information for approval and presentation
- Partner closely with vendors to oversee production, approvals and delivery timelines
- Monitor weekly production and development trackers to ensure deadlines are achieved
- Attend client presentations and fittings where required
- Ensure all QA/QC and supplier compliance standards are met
- Manage accessory and trim development alongside nominated suppliers
- Maintain exceptional communication across both internal and external stakeholders
About You
- Previous experience within Product Development, Merchandise, Production or Buying
- Strong understanding of garment production, sourcing and development processes
- Proven ability to manage multiple categories and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Experience working with offshore vendors and suppliers
- Confident managing costing, critical paths and production timelines
- Commercially minded with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
- ERP system experience highly regarded
