About the role
We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of custom cabinetry and joinery projects from initial order confirmation through to manufacturing, installation and final completion. This role works closely with customers, production staff, installers, suppliers and the sales team to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on schedule and in accordance with customer specifications.
Key responsibilities
● Coordinate cabinetry and joinery projects from confirmed orders through manufacturing, delivery and installation
● Review project documentation, drawings, measurements, product specifications and customer requirements before production scheduling
● Liaise with customers to confirm project timelines, site readiness, delivery arrangements and installation requirements
● Coordinate production schedules with the manufacturing team and organise installation activities with installers and subcontractors
● Monitor material availability and liaise with suppliers to minimise production delays
● Prepare and maintain project documentation, including quotations, variations, production schedules, delivery records and completion documentation
● Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to customers and internal stakeholders
● Work closely with the sales and design teams to clarify project specifications and resolve project-related issues
● Coordinate communication between manufacturing, logistics and installation teams to ensure efficient project delivery
● Assist in resolving scheduling, production or site-related issues to minimise project delays
● Ensure completed projects are accurately documented, invoiced and finalised within company systems
Skills and experience
● At least 3 years previous experience in project coordination, project administration or construction support
● Experience within cabinetry, joinery, manufacturing, construction or home improvement industries is highly regarded
● Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
● Excellent communication skills with customers, suppliers, production staff and subcontractors
● Strong attention to detail when reviewing project specifications, drawings and production requirements
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities
● Knowledge of and experience with design software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp for interpreting, reviewing and preparing cabinetry and joinery drawings and designs
● Knowledge of CNC machining and nesting software such as Cabmaster used in cabinet and joinery manufacturing
● Competent in Microsoft Office and general business management systems
● Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to coordinate project activities from commencement through completion
