The Financial Management, People and Engagement Group Data Office plays a central role in connecting business, data, and technology to deliver scalable data governance across a complex enterprise environment. We partner within the division to embed best practice data management, improve data quality, and enable informed, data-driven decision making.
We are a global financial services group operating in 30 markets with 57 years of unbroken profitability. At Macquarie, you’re empowered to shape a career that is fulfilling and creates value. You will bring your insights and expertise to the task at hand and feel supported as you make your own kind of impact for a better future.
What role will you play?
In this role, you will design and embed automated, scalable data governance approaches that integrate seamlessly into business processes. You will translate enterprise standards into practical solutions that minimise manual effort, ensuring data ownership, controls, and monitoring are built directly into workflows to improve consistency and reduce risk.
You will analyse end-to-end processes and data flows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation, working with stakeholders to define clear, structured solutions. Partnering closely with technology teams, you will support the delivery of integrated data solutions and drive continuous improvement by standardising and scaling data management practices. You will also collaborate across business, technology, and risk teams to communicate complex concepts clearly and align stakeholders around efficient, automation-led outcomes.
What you offer
Experience in Business Analysis, Data Analysis, or Data Governance in a complex environment.
Understanding of data governance, data quality, and data management practices.
Experience identifying and delivering automation or process optimisation outcomes.
Strong requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution design capability.
Familiarity with data and analytics tools (e.g. Collibra, SQL, Power BI, Alteryx, Python or similar).
Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and value delivery.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
