Who you are
We are seeking a motivated and emerging researcher to contribute to a nationally significant, NHMRC-funded research project led by The University of Queensland. This is an exciting opportunity to build your academic profile while working collaboratively within a supportive and high-performing research environment.
What you'll do
You are an emerging researcher with a strong foundation in public health or a related discipline, looking to grow your academic career. In this role, you will actively contribute to high-quality research and scholarship, while developing your academic capability under the guidance of experienced researchers. Key responsibilities include:
Contributing to impactful, discipline-level research aligned with project objectives
Producing high-quality research outputs, guided by a mentor or supervisor and consistent with ethical research practices
Participating in research activities including data collection, analysis, and dissemination
Building collaborative relationships across disciplines and with external partners
Supporting Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students, including co-supervision where appropriate
Engaging in both face-to-face and online discussions to support project progress and decision-making
Undertaking ongoing professional development to strengthen academic and leadership capability

Salary: Total remuneration range $59,994 to $80,485 pa (includes salary range of $50,596 to $67,877 pa, employer super contributions of 17% and annual leave loading)
