I have been working at Telstra full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Pay is generous and the perks are very decent such as discounted phones, shares etc. There are many different teams so it's possible to move around and have a new team feeling without having to change companies.

    Cons

Promotions are much harder to come by; you must actively seek promotions outside your team area usually. Politics is a major part; you must be wise in your dealings

    Advice to Management

Protect your staff first and be active in growing your staff. Reduce silos and road blockers to achieve results. Stop the politics; we are one company
