AI/ML Engineer (2–5 Years Experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated AI/ML Engineer to join our growing team in Queensland. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of hands-on experience in developing, deploying, and optimizing machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build intelligent systems that drive business innovation and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI solutions.
• Build and maintain data pipelines for model training and inference.
• Develop predictive analytics, recommendation systems, NLP, or computer vision applications.
• Fine-tune and optimize machine learning models for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Monitor, evaluate, and improve deployed AI/ML systems.
• Stay updated with the latest AI, machine learning, and generative AI technologies.
• Document technical solutions and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of professional experience in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or Data Science roles.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or similar.
• Experience working with SQL and data processing tools.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of MLOps, model deployment, and monitoring practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI.
• Knowledge of NLP, Computer Vision, or Deep Learning techniques.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with vector databases, RAG architectures, and AI agent frameworks.
