The People and Workplace Relations (Schools) Division is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the design and delivery of key HR initiatives that support schools across the Department. This role sits within the People and Initiatives team and plays a key role in building technical capability across the Department's largest workforce, the teaching service, while also contributing to broader divisional and group priorities that strengthen workforce capability and support a culture of continuous improvement.

• Developing workforce planning, supply and demand strategies and initiatives
• Supporting the attraction, recruitment and retention of teachers in Victorian government schools
• Delivering high-quality HR and recruitment services
• Providing workforce policy, industrial and employee relations advice

• Lead the design and delivery of key HR initiatives
• Oversee multiple projects, ensuring they are aligned, well-managed and deliver outcomes
• Put in place fit-for-purpose governance, including managing risks and dependencies
• Provide clear, concise advice and updates to senior leaders
• Build and maintain strong relationships across the Department, schools and external stakeholders
• Lead project teams and support effective collaboration
• Identify opportunities to improve how we design and deliver initiatives

• Has experience leading projects or programs in a complex environment
