About the role
The Senior Manager Contracts provides strategic leadership across the facilities management contract portfolio, establishing consistent governance, frameworks and best‑practice contract management approaches. Leading a specialist contract management team, this role is responsible for shaping market approaches and contract strategies in partnership with Procurement, ensuring contracts are fit‑for‑purpose, compliant and deliver strong value‑for‑money outcomes that support facilities operations.
As a trusted advisor to facilities leaders, you will provide commercial oversight across complex service contracts—monitoring performance, financial outcomes and risk, and acting as an escalation point for sensitive or high‑impact issues. With a strong focus on safety excellence, customer outcomes and continuous improvement, you will build high‑performing relationships with internal stakeholders and external providers, lead contract lifecycle planning, and ensure services adapt effectively to changing regulatory, operational and service delivery requirements.
About you
You are a contract management professional with extensive experience leading complex contract portfolios and providing authoritative commercial advice in a regulated environment. You hold a relevant degree qualification or bring equivalent skills, knowledge and experience, along with a valid NSW Working with Children Check or the ability to obtain one prior to commencement. You are comfortable operating at a strategic level while maintaining strong oversight of commercial, performance and risk outcomes.
You have a proven track record of managing contract performance and value‑for‑money outcomes, including advising on complex variations, risk matters and remediation actions within established governance frameworks. Known for your sound judgement, commercial acumen and integrity, you provide clear, confident advice to senior stakeholders and support informed decision‑making across high‑value, service‑based contracts.
