In this role, you'll:
Join the Rollingstock Regional Rail team and this role will see you lead a high-performing team of Commissioning, Integration and Technical Specialists to deliver end-to-end verification and validation of new rolling stock for Regional Rail.
You will be accountable for ensuring that new fleet introductions meet safety, quality and performance requirements, while actively driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, compliance and operational readiness.
This is a diverse, highly agile operational role requiring creative solutions within tight timeframes to ensure the project meets project deliverables and key milestones so that the next generation rail fleet is full prepared to operate safely and efficiently.
This is a fixed term opportunity up until 30/03/2027 with opportunity to be extended.

About you
You will have a good understanding of integration of new fleet with experience in testing and commissioning and the assurance that is required around this.
You will also have extensive and proven experience in the development, delivery and management of large programs delivering change within a Transport environment with in-depth knowledge of the rail operating environment.
Ideally you will be tertiary qualified in Engineering with a background in safety and risk.
