About the role

Due to continued growth, we are expanding our Coverage and Financial Lines practice and are seeking a talented Associate 3+ PAE to join our high-performing team in Sydney or Melbourne. You will work closely with our Principals on a range of complex and high-value insurance matters, supporting leading insurer and corporate clients across:

• Directors’ & Officers’ (D&O) liability
• Financial Institutions liability
• Professional Indemnity (PI)
• Media & Technology risks
• Coverage advice and defence work

This role offers strong exposure to technically sophisticated work, meaningful responsibility from the outset, and the opportunity to further develop your expertise within a collaborative and growing practice.

About you

You will likely bring:

• Around 3+ years’ post-admission experience, with exposure to coverage and financial lines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences
• Initiative, a proactive approach and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• The capability to manage client expectations and deliver responsive, high-quality outcomes
• An interest in business development, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
• A collaborative mindset, with an interest in mentoring and supporting the development of junior lawyers
• A genuine enthusiasm for contributing to a team-oriented and high-performing environment
