About the Role
The Cryptography Management Squad provides secure management of cryptographic keys and HSMs and expert advice to internal projects and industry bodies, leading to a more secure environment to process transactions and store data. They also provide three shared HSM platforms as a basis for cryptographic functions as a service.
As an Engineer in the Cryptography Management squad, you will be responsible for supporting design, build, test, key management and hardware security module deployment services for protection of sensitive data and cryptographic functions as a service to ensure outcomes exceed our customers’ expectations.

Work Hours: Full-Time What will your day look like?
Support the lifecycle management of cryptographic keys
Provide cryptographic guidance and consultation to technology and business partners on cryptographic implementation and management
Support the implementation and debugging of hardware security modules globally
Support the oversight over life cycle of digital certificates processes
Provide support to internal and external auditors over cryptographic key management operation globally
Continually improve cryptographic services processes and operational procedures
Maintain and upkeep the global cryptographic key and custodian register
Define the cryptographic keys and hardware security control modules life cycle management process for ANZ globally
Support secure key exchanges of cryptographic keys with external parties
Support preparation and conduct key ceremonies for each key management activity
Provide training to custodians
Ensure that all cryptographic services and HSM deployment comply with ANZ Group strategy, standards, policies and external regulatory requirements
Support continual running of HSM clusters run by Cryptography Management squad
Keeping up with industry trends on cryptography technology and related product development
