What will your typical day look like?
Expect to work closely with our clients, helping to address ‘front-page’ and ‘big-ticket’ issues. On a day-to-day basis you might find yourself:
Collaborating with government and stakeholders to shape the next generation of major policies and investments.
Developing and delivering independent reviews, options analysis, business cases and strategy development for complex policies, projects and programs.
Undertaking commercial and financial analysis, designing commercial frameworks and optimising procurement strategies.
Analysing an infrastructure network’s performance and future requirements using the latest tools and technologies to identify opportunities and risk.
Playing key functional roles in Program Management Offices (PMOs) of major Defence infrastructure programs.
Conducting analysis to identify opportunities and risks in complex policies and projects.
Leading large-scale government tender processes and commercial strategy development to enable value for money.

We are looking for a diverse range of skill sets and experiences to add to our Canberra team.
As a Consultant you would be expected to have strong technical and analytical capabilities and an ability to problem solve to deliver impact, capability to articulate compelling messages and communication, understand the importance of effective engagement management, and build a deeper knowledge and understanding of the sales process.
We are looking for the following must haves:
A passion for public sector work and a strong understanding of government policy and investment drivers.
Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to write for various audiences.
A positive, collaborative, problem-solving mindset with a drive to learn and grow.
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
An Australian Government Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
You may also have the following skills / experiences, which would be valuable to the role:
Experience in public sector strategy, procurement, infrastructure delivery, business cases, financial/economic modelling, contract design, and consulting services.
Strong quantitative analysis skills, including financial and economic analysis.
Project management or contract administration experience in Defence, Government, or private sector.
Background in engineering, science, commerce, infrastructure, trade, or real estate.
Experience with the Australian Defence Force (reservists and veterans encouraged to apply).
Understanding of Australian and/or ACT Government operations.
