About the Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen for a Technical Services Superintendent to join our Golden Grove polymetallic operation in Western Australia. In this role, you will report to the Technical Services Manager and work on an 8:6 roster.
Your focus will be on leading the site’s technical services function, ensuring activities are aligned with operational priorities to support the safe, efficient, and reliable underground mining operations.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Leading the Technical Services team across mine planning, geotechnical, ventilation, survey, and scheduling functions.
- Developing and delivering short- and medium-term mine plans, designs, schedules, and production strategies.
- Maintaining and implementing critical technical management plans and systems in line with statutory requirements.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives, technical standards, and QAQC processes to improve operational performance.
- Monitoring technical and operational risks while providing reporting, forecasting, and stakeholder support.
- Mentoring and managing technical personnel to build a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
About You
Our ideal candidate will bring a strong mining background, proven technical leadership experience, and the ability to lead high-performing teams to deliver operational improvement and positive change.
Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering, Geology, or Geotechnical Engineering.
- Experience leading underground technical services teams.
- Strong understanding of underground mine planning, scheduling, and technical risk management.
- Experience developing and managing technical services systems and processes within mining.
- Proficiency in mine design and scheduling software.
- Current C Class manual driver’s licence.
