ABOUT THE ROLE (Your new role)
We are seeking a motivated Junior QA Engineer who is passionate about technology, problem solving, and delivering high-quality software experiences.
You will work closely with developers, senior QA engineers, and product stakeholders to learn software testing practices, identify defects, validate new functionality, and contribute to maintaining high-quality products across desktop, web, cloud, mobile, and integrated applications.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop your testing, technical, and automation skills while working within a supportive team environment.

Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
- Exposure to web, desktop, mobile, or cloud applications.
- Exposure to SQL or database concepts.
- Exposure to API testing tools such as Postman.
- Exposure to programming languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript, or similar.
- Exposure to Git, Azure DevOps, Jira, or other development lifecycle tools.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or modern web technologies.
- Exposure to automation testing concepts or frameworks.
RESPONSIBILITIES (What you will be doing)
- Execute manual test cases for desktop, web, cloud, mobile, and integrated applications.
- Assist in creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, and testing documentation.
- Identify, document, and track software defects.
- Participate in regression, functional, integration, and exploratory testing activities.
- Assist with API testing and validation of system integrations.
- Validate data and business processes using databases and testing tools.
- Collaborate with developers and senior QA engineers to investigate and reproduce issues.
- Contribute to maintaining test environments and test data.
- Learn automation testing concepts, tools, and frameworks.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team.
ABOUT YOU (You the employee)
- 1+ years of commercial software testing experience, QA, or a technical testing role is advantageous.
- A degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- You are naturally curious, detail-oriented, and enjoy solving problems.
- You take ownership of your work, communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and enjoy helping teams deliver quality software.
- You understand that quality is a shared responsibility and enjoy working collaboratively to improve products, processes, and customer outcomes.
WHAT WE OFFER (What you get in return)
- Salary range $60,000–$75,000 + super, depending on experience + bi-annual profit-sharing bonus scheme.
