WHO ARE YOU?
You are fascinated by digital and have a passion for all things tech. You enjoy solving web-based puzzles and pride yourself on the high quality of your outputs. You ideally have 4 years’ experience working in a similar BA role, preferably with some of those years spent working at a digital consultancy like ours.
You are the trusted advisor when it comes to understanding business problems, with your experience and expertise allowing you to architect best in breed, tailored technology solutions for clients. Your keen eye for detail allows you to analyse all the working elements of a client’s tech stack, while also considering the bigger picture. You also enjoy help manage smaller clients and projects from time to time.
You are super organised and reliable, with strong communication skills, and enjoy collaborating with different subject matter experts from Developers, UX Experts and Digital Producers through to Account Managers.
WHAT’S THE ROLE?
At Revium our Business Analysts act as the bridge between our clients and our development team. Our BAs deep dive into our client’s businesses, to understand their problems and then use that information to work closely with our UX experts and the wider Revium team to architect and document best in breed technology-based solutions.
Projects that the team handle range from complex enterprise websites and bespoke applications to AI consulting and implementation engagements, plus ongoing client support.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Perform requirements gathering tasks including, at times, leading client workshops
- Develop business, functional, and technical documentation including Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Functional Specification Documents (FSD)
- Concise and unambiguous communication of client requirements to developers and designers
- Brief developers and designers with concise and unambiguous communication of client requirements , ensuring implementation tasks are well documented
- Contribute to AI delivery across two fronts: supporting client-facing AI consulting and implementation projects, and helping drive the internal rollout of AI tools and processes across the Revium team
- Assist in the development and validation of quotes
- Oversee and complete testing, verification, validation techniques and quality control (including compatibility testing)
- Professionally communicating with clients handling project requests, project updates, and so forth
- Write test scenarios, test cases and test plans
- Create and provide training and documentation for end users
- At times act as the primary point of contact for some clients
- Exceptional levels of customer service provided internally and externally
- Promptly escalate issues which affect product delivery and quality
- Contribute to the company knowledge base and process improvements, paying particular attention to opportunities for efficiency gains using AI
- Work across Waterfall and Agile/Hybrid frameworks depending on the engagement
Assist with system solution and architecture design

If you were here this week, you might have:
- Led a requirements workshop with a client to kick off their website re-platform
- Led a Customer Data Platform client training session with the Marketing team
- Met with a Digital Producer to discuss solutions for problems identified during development.
- Provided cost estimates and map out approach for a number of requirements based workshops for a bespoke AI insights tool being developed, engaging with various Revium subject matter experts
- Regression tested a bespoke AI tool for a corporate client before public launch
- Prompt-engineered a bespoke AI tool against requirements and guardrails provided by the client
- AI enablement session on site with a client
- Creating AI skills to create efficiencies in an existing process
- Conducted browser compatibility testing of an enterprise website and logged the issues into the internal ticket tracking system for developers to action.
- Documented technical and functional requirements in a detailed Functional Specification Document.
Put together a Release Plan Document for an upcoming product launch.

WHAT ARE WE IDEALLY LOOKING FOR?
- 3-5 years of experience in business analysis including systems and process analysis
- Experience working in a comparative role in a digital agency or consultancy (preferred)
- Current Australian resident based in Melbourne or surrounding suburbs
- Experience leading requirements workshops and writing business or functional documentation (BRDs, FSDs) to an extremely high standard
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Active and confident use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) in your day-to-day work, this is a daily expectation from day one, not a nice-to-have
- At times you'll also pick up digital producer duties, planning projects, managing clients and steering delivery through to close, so you're comfortable owning a project end to end
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience developing Test Plans and Test Scenarios
- Demonstrable ability to design logical database structures
- Excellent presentation skills (including leading workshops)
